Who is Munmun Dhamecha: Model Munmun Dhamecha is one of eight people detained in the Drugs On-Cruise case. According to reports, on October 2, the Narcotics Control Bureau (BNC) raided a passenger cruise ship anchored near Mumbai and recovered drugs like mephedrone, charas, cocaine and ecstasy. Among those detained is also Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan.

Besides Khan and Dhamecha, the rest of the six people held for questioning are Nupur Sarika, Arbaaz Merchant, Mohak Jaswal, Munmun Dhamecha, Vikrant Chhoker, Ismeet Singh and Gomit Chopra.

  2. According to a report, Dhamecha is the daughter of a businessman from Madhya Pradesh.
  3. She is a resident of Sagar District in Madhya Pradesh. Her mother passed away last year.
  4. Her brother, Prince Dhamecha, works in Delhi.
  5. She has 10.3K followers on Instagram. She keeps her subscribers engaged by posting reels and photos of her modeling sessions.
  6. In her most recent post, she can be seen wearing a green dress. “Just so green”, can we read in the caption.
  7. The eight people, including Khamecha, arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (BNC) will be brought before a court in Mumbai on October 4. This will be done after their medical examination.
  8. “Khan and others were on the cruise ship where the agency hosted a rave party,” said NCB area manager Sameer Wankhede.
  9. According to the report, a Delhi-based event company hosted the parties on passenger cruise ships on October 2, 3 and 4.
  10. According to the NCB, the drug raid resulted in 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 tablets of MDMA and 5 grams of MD. The inmates had hidden the drugs in their clothes, underwear and handbags.
  11. On the morning of October 2, the raids began at 10 a.m. and lasted 4 hours.
  12. Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmu Khamecha were produced before Additional Magistrate RK Rajebhosale by NCB Special Prosecutor Advait Sethna on October 4. A two-day pre-trial detention has been requested to further facilitate the investigation of the case. Sethna informed the court that the BCN had invoked Sections 8 (c) read along with Sections 20b, 35 and 27 of the NDPS Act against those involved.
